Stevens diamond-shaped feed chute accepts material for BOTH chipping and shredding. Its clever design, paired with the secondary angle entry lip, provides a smoother, self-feeding action for branches and green waste up to 70mm and 90mm in thickness. Self feeding is super important as it means way less effort that you the operator has to put into processing the branches!

CHIPPER Blades & Shredder Knives
What this means is; Two blades cutting against a toughened anvil chip large branches into small manageable sizes for faster composting. Behind these blades lies Six double-edged shredder knives which mulch green foliage after it has been chipped all in the same chute. No unnecessary separation of branch and foliage like other chipper shredders… So with this machine you get a Chipper and a Shredder! More expensive to build but a better system that can handle a wide variety of branches and green waste that other machines cant handle. Ideal for stringy and hard to process foliage.
