Stevens Group are delighted to have taken part in this year’s Residues 2 Revenues Conference 25-26 July 2023 – in Rotorua.
The event saw a great turnout from across the forestry and wood residues industries. The event had delegates from a board range in attendance; forest owners, manufacturing operations, councils, researchers, contractors etc.
Event sponsors ‘Stevens Group’ exhibited both inside and outside the venue (Distinction Hotel & Conference centre). The 800 horsepower Morbark 3400 XT Wood Hog horizontal Grinder – ‘on display’ gained a lot of interest.
The Wood hog provides the features customers want and the versatility they need, while staying true to proven technology.
One of the most important features of the 3400X is that it can be made as narrow as 8’4″ (2.53 m), making it within the legal transport width in New Zealand and in fact any country, no matter what engine is used.
We had the pleasure of George Perez’s (Morbark Industrial Sales, Morbark LLC, USA) company for the event, whom conducted a Tech Showcase in the Pre-Conference Workshop, on the Morbark equipment available in NZ via sole distributor Stevens Group.
On Tues the 25th July, the Pre- Conference Workshop provided an overview of the latest technologies and equipment : involved in grinding, chipping, shredding and biofuel handling technologies for processing tress, forest slash, logging residues and stump wood.
